I love the grid tool. When I found out how to use it (thank you Gloria) I kept using it for everything I was doing. It totally lines up everything, and the grid isn't in a large scale either, they are very small boxes inside the square 1" by 1", so it can help with any size object.
*johnimbong* This image is so bright, so clear, and I want to take a drink of whatever that is in the picture. The creator made it seem almost like there is a light shining on the drink which only increases focally the image of the drink. The design outside of the drink seems like it is pointing to it, and emphasizing it. Very refreshing picture. The way that in the glass it looks like you can see the red image (that's on the outside) inside, it looks exactly like it would if it were sitting on the table in front of me.
*W/Brasil* This image is really neat and perfected. The water looks absolutely stunning on her, and looks like someone poured a water dress on her literally and snapped a picture really quick. The random splashing from the dress, and the flowing of the water completely resembles a dress. Very cool.
*Scott Pollard* This image is so beautiful. It is so graceful, and the colors are worked in perfectly. It's just a beautiful image, I would love to have the skills to do something similar to this some day. The back, middle, and foreground all blend together very nicely, even with the differences.
*Johnny Cheuk* I think this is awesome...just the messiness of the colors but it still has some organized value and substance. When you first glance at it, it just looks like a blob of color, but the color is pretty precise for being all over. I would like to see the color without the wiggles, I think it would look more on accident, which gives this image so much more. I like it because it's not painted perfectly in the lines, I just think the creator organized his/her unorganized matter to much.
*Peter Jaworowski* This one is cool. It's awesome to see the art in the actual advertisement. The object is so out there and crazy and fantastic, and it's advertising a friggen phone. It's sweet how, when forcefully put together, anything can relate to something else if people want it too. The clarity, the perfected angles, and colors, it's all awesome.
*Ikraus- Simon Schulz* I don't necessarily know what I'm looking at, but I think that's what is making it so fascinating to me. It's so clear, and detailed, but I don't even know what the details are for. The focal point is drawn out for us, but I still can't comprehend the whole image and figure out what it is exactly. Or if that's how I am supposed to feel about it? Who knows? Really cool image, very distinct, it definitely asks for a lot of attention.
This totally peaks my interest, it's so contrasting because it's complex but very simple. The lack of color is interesting, because usually the one color in an all black and white image would draw you to it, but everytime I look at it, i'm looking somewhere else trying to take it all in.
I hope to do something like this when I get my career going. I would love to do advertising and I think booze would be the most fun due to the lack of boundaries. The colors, the substance, and the randomness play a huge part to why it's interesting to me. A little more direction for all of the 'ABSOLUTE' advertisements would, I think, help focus the ad more and be easier on the eyes, but as a graphic design major, I love that they completely pushed the envelope creativity wise.
This object is so rad, there is so much randomness (which is the story of my life) that is going on, and one thing generally has nothing to do with the other, but the creator made them mesh together well. Each object looks like it belongs there, so I say job well done.
The colors are absolutely fantastic, and there is just so much to look at, but it doesn't seem overwhelming. I like how the one corner is the focal point, but it is definitely not the only place your eye wants to go.
This one is so cool, the colors aren't super bright and obvious, but they contrast together well. The image is so clean, and the texture makes me want to touch it. It seems like it's on transfer paper, it's blurry and crisp at the same time.
Using so many colors in the same family has always peeked my interest. Mainly because even with similar colors, it can still create different types of emotions and that's what make it so compelling. Purple could mean royalty, but it could also mean something completely different to someone else.

Okay, so I really love the twilight series, but let me clarify, I started reading them BEFORE the movie was being filmed, before the teenagers started freaking out and before it was completely blown up hollywood style.
